The growth in this first year is such a beautiful thing to capture. Each session will show the new things your little one has learned, and it is so stunning to see their little minds bloom!

At 4 months, babies are super great at tummy time, lying on their back and dancing their feet, and they are SO good at those big toothless smiles!
At 7 months, babies are pretty good at sitting up on their own, they love to lie on their backs and play with their toes, and we can even let them feed themselves their favourite fruit! And let’s not forget how much those toothless smiles turn into giggles!
At 12 months, babies are standing, sometimes un-assisted, sometimes they are even walking! Even if they aren’t yet walking, they are definitely crawling! Their little personalities are starting to show even more and they LOVE to explore new textures, spaces and sounds!

what to expect

You have just completed your newborn session with us, and after seeing the photos and how quickly your little one is growing, you know for a fact you do not want to miss these beautiful milestones. Or, you feel like you missed the newborn stage, your baby is already a few weeks old, and you don’t want to miss capturing your little one!

Well our Beautiful Buds - Milestones Package is perfect for this!

how it works…

4 MONTHS SESSION

Session is one hour, but we move quickly to ensure baby doesn’t tire out, and babies at this age only can really give us 1.5 - 2 hours. Doing the session with a few outfit changes for baby, and asking baby to engage with me and the camera, as well as do tummy time, etc. please don’t be surprised if the session tires your baby out a little earlier than expected.

What do we capture?

We can do family portraits if you wish or if we missed your newborn session, otherwise this session we are focusing on baby.
We do tummy time photos, we do photos in cute outfits and different set ups that highlight how much they have grown and how much they can do!
And we work to capture big smiles, dancing and kicking feet, and sweet giggles.
We can also capture breastfeeding photos if you would like!

What is included in the session?

One hour of photography in studio
Access to all of our outfits for baby, as well as any dresses for mom if she wants to or needs to join.
All of your edited and retouched images in full resolution (30 or more images)

7 MONTHS SESSION

Session is one hour, but just like the other session we will be moving quickly to keep baby engaged.

What do we capture?

At this stage we could be doing sitting poses, we have a beautiful vintage high chair if you want to bring them their favourite fruit to munch on.
We also include a family portrait for this session, if you opted to skip the family photos in the 4 months session.
Also at this age, if weather is permitting we can definitely do part of the session outdoors!
We can also capture breastfeeding photos if you would like.

What is included in the session?

One hour of photography in studio & outdoors if weather permits.
Access to all of our outfits for baby, as well as any dresses for mom if she wants to or needs to join.
All of your edited and retouched images in full resolution (30 or more images)

12 MONTHS SESSION

Session is 1.5 hours, we will be moving quickly, but also due to their developmental age, if you would like to do a cake smash we will be doing that on a separate day from the rest of the session.

What do we capture?

We really focus on family portraits. This year changed you in so many beautiful ways as a family and I want to capture that for you!
We do set ups and outfits that match their developmental stage - so letting them crawl and walk against things, walking with you holding their hands, all those fun things!
If you opt to do a cake smash we do this on a separate day in studio. Sometimes the cake smash and the portraits are just too much on baby and honestly on the parents!

What is included in the session?

1.5 hours of photography in studio & outdoors if weather permits.

Access to all of our outfits for baby, as well as any dresses for mom if she wants to or needs to join.
A white vanilla cake for the cake smash unless you have specific dietary requirements, if you need guidance in securing a cake that fits your needs I am here to help!
All of your edited and retouched images in full resolution (30 or more images)
