Sessions We Offer
We do not charge a Session Fee!
In order to simplify things with my pricing there is NO session fee! When you book with us, you will not be charged a session fee and instead you will be paying a retainer of $200 at booking to hold your date and time. Once the session is complete your retainer will count against the package that you choose from below. The price you see below is the price you pay (+tax), NO added fees.

Stand Alone Sessions
Maternity Session
Maternity sessions are 2 hours long, you can choose to do your session in our stylish and cozy studio & outdoor (weather permitting), or in your own home. We meet via Zoom before the session to discuss important things like your style, what your comfort level is on how much skin you are showing, and other important things about the session so you feel fully prepared and confident coming into your session.
Newborn Session
In studio newborn sessions are booked in for 4 hours. We do not expect to use all of those hours, and often our newborn sessions are only a couple of hours. The reason we put aside 4 hours is to ensure that neither you or your baby are rushed through this experience. We want this to be a meaningful experience, capturing you and your new baby in the most unique and authentic way. Also, our sessions are baby led. This means that if baby is not comfortable or settling into a certain pose, we adjust; we take our time. We also take great pride in ensuring that all of our practices are based on newborn safety.
Newborn Sessions in your home are booked in for 2 hours. This is because in a new space and working with limited equipment we offer more of a lifestyle session with your newborn. We capture your home as well as your baby as they make their space in it. We use more relaxed posing for the newborn and include the family in more of the poses.
Both sessions include family photos, so your partner and any other children you have are definitely invited!
(Furry children are also welcome! <3 )
The Story Experience
Maternity & Newborn Session
For about 7 years now, The Story Experience, with the maternity AND newborn session combined, has been my most popular offering for my clients. Not just because you are getting a one-stop-shop, but you are also getting a maternity session, a newborn session, access to my maternity dresses, newborn props, my expertise I have perfected over a decade of posing women and working safely with newborn babies, as well as many more perks that I can’t even list here, all for one simple price.
And the best part? ALL of your edited and retouched digital images are included as well! Meaning you do not have to go through and pick a set amount, you just get everything that is beautiful from both of your sessions. (That is about 70-90 images for each session).
We do everything to make this beautiful moment even more special. This is our passion. This is our purpose, and as a team, Chuck and I do everything in our power to ensure that you have the most beautiful, unique and special images of this beautiful, unique and special moment.
With the Story Experience you have two options, The Full Story and The Short Story, keep reading to learn about what to expect in working with us followed by our full price list which will explain in more detail the difference between the two options.

What to Expect
Booking
There is a $200 deposit at booking, this is to hold your due date in my calendar so that I can ensure that we do not overbook around when your baby arrives. This amount is put towards your chosen digital package. (If you are booking only a newborn session, skip the Maternity info, if you are only booking a Maternity session, skip the newborn info). Please note: If you are booking the Short Story the length of your maternity session is 1 hour and location of the session is in studio OR outdoor (weather permitting), otherwise your experience will be the same.
Maternity Session Pre consultation
We meet via Zoom and plan out your date and time of your maternity session. This is a great time for us to discuss your style and your comfort level with what you would like to wear. I have clients who prefer to not show much skin at all, and others who would like to go fully nude. We are able to work with all comfort levels. This meeting will also help prepare you with what to bring/wear, what your partner should bring/wear, and other little details like hair and make up if you decide you would like to do that. We find doing this pre-consultation is great at easing the nerves before the shoot as well, because you get to see that I am super easy going and honestly just a lot of fun, haha!
Maternity Session
We normally book this for when you are 32-36 weeks along, based on how you are feeling, and how your pregnancy has been progressing. I provide all of the dresses and have a decades long experience in posing women, so you are in good hands during this session. I make the session easy, quick (but not too quick), and truly so much fun! I love to make my clients laugh and ease the tension and the nerves of being in front of the camera. My favourite thing that I hear from clients is how relaxed and fun I made the session for them.
Newborn Session
We wait to hear until baby has arrived before we schedule your newborn session, this is why we book in your due date, it tells us that a baby will be arriving around this date and we want to make sure we have available dates for you to choose from at that time. We have two options for the timing of the session, you could choose to come when baby is between the age of 5 and 10 days old, these sessions are great to capture baby when they are so fresh and brand new, or you could come when baby is 21 days old. The second option is great for when mama needs to recover from the birth, or if you just need more adjustment time to the new baby before you have your session.
If you booked the full story or stand alone newborn session, we schedule 4 hours for the newborn session, but we rarely ever need that long. We have this amount of time available because we totally get how unpredictable babies can be. You could be on track to leave the house on time and then suddenly baby needs a diaper change, another feeding, and a change of clothes because of another poopy diaper, and you find yourself half an hour behind. This is totally expected, and it is very often that our clients are running late for a newborn session. Additionally if baby needs time to feed, be settled, or just needs extra snuggle time, we are not in any rush and just follow baby’s cues. The Short Story Experience newborn session is roughly an hour long, because it is more of a focus on family with one or two set ups with baby on their own.
The posing we use is very relaxed for baby, and we work diligently within the guidelines of newborn safety. Both Chuck, (my business partner, husband, as well as assistant baby whisperer) and I will be working with your little one, making sure they are always super safe. And our son Lux may also make a cameo at the end of the session, as he is always super excited to see a new baby :)
The Reveal
We will meet once again via zoom where I can show you your gallery of images. This can be a very beautiful and emotional moment, so I always encourage both of you be there for the reveal. It is at this time that you will choose your digital images if you did a stand alone session. If you booked The Full Story or the Short Story, you will be receiving all of your edited digital images, which is approx 100-150 images combined from both sessions via digital download. Your deposit goes towards your price, so you will be invoiced for the remaining balance after the deposit is taken off. I will also use this time to explain to you how you will receive your images, best practices for caring for your digital images, and what to expect with your gallery and how to use it.
Once all is said and done we will have holding your hand through capturing this beautiful moment for a couple of months at this point. While for you it will be still a few more months of focusing on baby, and sleep deprived fog, for us it will be a great honour to have joined you on this journey, and we will hope to see you again as baby grows and grows. Basically, if you’ll have us, you will be stuck with us for years!

The Full Story
I like to think that the Maternity Session is your story, a way to capture this truly amazing thing your body is doing, while also seeing with the images, that although your body and life are going through major changes, you are still YOU in there.
The Newborn Session is the story of your family and your little one’s arrival into this world. It is so beautiful to be able to capture the way their arrival and presence in your life has changed you and your partner so much as a person and a family unit. And these images are truly cherished by your kiddo as they grow to see that love you had for them when they were so fresh and so new.
This is by far our most popular package, because when you book your Platinum Digital Package Maternity Session you get a full Platinum Digital Package Newborn Session for just $200 more! It is a great option to get all of your digital images from both sessions and complete the Full Story and have it remembered and celebrated for the incredibly meaningful event that it will be.
The Full Story is a more personalized session where we capture unique and stunning images of your growing family. Also included:
