Session Fee
In order to simplify things with my pricing there is NO session fee! Whether you are booking a maternity, newborn or family session, you will be paying a retainer of $200 at booking to hold your date and time and that will be put towards the session price! So the price you see below is your full price (+tax)! There are no hidden fees!
Family Session (Studio/Home)
Included:
30 minute zoom pre-consultation where we plan activities, check out your home space in regards to lighting, and get to know your vision for your images.
Session in your home or in our studio, we normally schedule an hour, but if more time is needed we are fine with that.
While these sessions are meant to capture your life at home, if there is any props or outfits you have seen that you would like me to bring, we can definitely do that!
Zoom meeting after session for gallery reveal of your edited and retouched images from which you can choose your favourite 15 full resolution digital images to receive via digital download.

To upgrade to receive all edited digital images in full resolution (approx 50 images) +$300

Family Session (Outdoor)
Included:
Access to our studio wardrobe for mom, and outfits for boys up to 2 years old and girls from 0-10 years.
Session at mutually agreed upon location (unlimited amount of family members can be present!) and timing is often as close to sunset as bedtimes will allow for that beautiful evening golden light.
Session is normally scheduled for an hour, but if we need more time we are fine with that.

What to Expect
Booking
There is a $200 deposit at booking, this is to hold your session date in my calendar. This amount is put towards your session price, and will be counted against your balance in your invoice. Your invoice will be sent to you with all of your prep information available on there (time, date, location, etc.) and you can plan to pay for your session by the day before your session occurs.
Pre-Consultation
If we are doing your session at our studio or outdoors, you do not need to meet with me beforehand, but the option is still there in case you have any special requests or would like some guidance on what to wear. If we are doing your session in your home it is mandatory that we meet via zoom, so that you can show me your living space. It helps me to plan for the lighting (as I am a natural light photographer) as well as it will assist you in any changes you may want to make in order to style your space so that your photos look like you hope they will. We can also discuss activities you can do as a family. Whether it is baking together, a dance party, reading, doing crafts, or running through the sprinkler in your backyard haha, whatever you all love doing as a family, I love capturing it. These are the beautiful moments that your children will remember forever. (Please keep in mind, we may have to charge a travel fee, depending on how far your home is from Montreal).
Session
We tend to book an hour for these sessions, as with young children, and frankly, let’s be honest, most Dads, have a limited patience for having photos done. So I work fast and I make sure every moment is fun filled, goofy, with soft tender moments happening naturally. I am known to capture over 500 photos in one hour with a family. This allows me to mine out all the gorgeous bits, the meaningful moments and the sweet smiles. It takes patience and perseverance to properly capture your family as they are, and I have both of those traits down pat. Plus I am a goofball and never too proud to use toilet humour to get a genuine laugh or smile.
The Reveal
We will meet once again via zoom where I can show you your gallery of images. This can be a very beautiful and emotional moment, so I always encourage both of you be there for the reveal. I am there to assist you in narrowing down your images to your chosen 15 digitals, if you are indecisive like me, do not worry, I have many tips and tricks to narrow down the images. If you LOVE all of the photos there will be an option to upgrade to the full gallery with an additional $300, but there is no pressure to do that. I just know my clients and often they prefer to have everything, so I have the option there.
Once it is all said and done, you will have had an amazing time, being more comfortable than you anticipated, and you will have this beautiful moment of realizing just how stunningly gorgeous your family is. And my hope is that my images will make their way up onto your walls so that they make your heart smile every time you see them.
